Bio
Born in the small fishing outport of Trouty and moved to Catalina at the age of two years. Spent entire life working in the fishing industry in one form or another and at times been very vocal about the issue's facing Rural Newfoundland and it's people. Started playing the guitar off and on around the age of 36 learning Country, Folk and light Rock songs. Over the past 7 years start playing mostly Irish/Newfoundland music belonging to others. Started to write songs over the past couple of years as a way of being vocal on issue's but also to celebrate this wonderful Island and it's people. In my songs I also try to speak for others from the stories I've been told both about the good times and the bad. Release of first album "Changing Times" in February 2010. God willing I will spend the remainder of my days right here in Catalina, Newfoundland both working and writing songs.
