Sarah Sue is a singer-songwriter and musician from Newfoundland, Canada. She is a proud Newfoundlander who, currently, resides in St. John's, Newfoundland, raising her family.
Growing up in Steady Brook, Newfoundland, with the Manuel side of her family, she was influenced, musically and theatrically, by her grandmother, Janet Manuel, and her aunties, Kathleen Manuel-Browne, and Tara Manuel (Rigler). Whether these ladies were giving a performance at home or on a stage it always fuelled Sarah Sue's passion for music and theatre. It has inspired her to pursue a music career of her own.
Always wanting to contribute to the Newfoundland music and art scene she has decided, at the age of 32, that there is no time like the present to pursue her dreams regarding her musical endeavours. She decided to go back to music lessons and quickly excelled. During this time, in the process, she composed an album length of personally raw and emotionally connecting songs that were inspired from her personal journey to find herself and her place in the world.
