Bailey Jordan-Neil is a 18 year-old singer/songwriter from Corner Brook, NL.
Bailey has been very much involved in Mr. H Presents an Open Stage for the Underage, and in that forum he has performed in Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Pasadena, Springdale and Stephenville. He was also invited to perform at the Trails, Tales and Tunes Folk Festival in Norris Point. Some of his other performances include Massey Drive Come Home Year Celebrations, many fundraisers for various community causes, Pasadena Strawberry Festival, several bars and clubs in Corner Brook and several solo performances at the Rotary arts Centre for the Performing Arts in Corner Brook, also a recurring act for the Sounds of Summer in Corner Brook. On the east coast of the island he has performed at the Levee on George Street and at the Beach Cottage in Holyrood. He competed in the Battle of the Bands in St. John's in April, 2016 and performs in some of the clubs on George Street. In the first Corner Brook Has Talent Contest, he placed in the top 3. On August 6, 2016 Bailey appears on the Neil Murray Stage at the Newfoundland Folk Festival in Bannerman Park, St. John's.
He has competed in Music NL events and has been involved in Make Music Happen, a singer/songwriters conference for young people and in the Bell Media Song Writers event.
Bailey is self-taught on guitar and piano, principally guitar. He has been playing for 3 years and has also taught himself to use a loop pedal. Any spare time Bailey has is spent singing, writing and experimenting with arrangements for his own compositions and the music of other writers as well.
In March of 2016 Bailey recorded his first EP containing 3 of his original songs.Bailey currently resides in St. John's Newfoundland and is a regular performer on George Street at the local bars and pubs. He is currently working on a new EP.
