MusicNL Demo Grants

2011 Deadlines July 29/December 2 

Objective:

This program is designed to assist new and established artists in the recording of demo's that will assist those applying for a full-length CD or pre-production of new material.

• This program is a grant and not repayable.
• Maximum grant amount: $1,000.
• Available to artists/groups, hereinafter referred to as the APPLICANT.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a current member of the MusicNL.
• The applicant must be a resident of the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.
• The studio recording the demo must be a MusicNL business member.
• The completed demo must include a minimum of three songs.
• Funding will represent a maximum 50% of total budget.

Note: Successful applicants have 60 days, from receiving notice, to complete the recording project and deliver relevant receipts to MusicNL office. If you do not comply funding will be withdrawn.

The following must accompany the application:

• Demo of one of the songs to be recorded.
• Completed budget.
• Bio of artist/group to be recorded, including photo.
• Letter of intent to the jury indicating what the Demo will be used for.
• Completed application form.
